This story is somewhere between the 'dream narratives' and the Cthulhu mythos. It features a person dreaming of a city in the far north (a theme that will return in Lovecraft's novel At the Mountains of Madness). When he wakes from his dream, he begins to doubt his reality, and eventually comes to believe that the dream city is the real place where he belongs.
